Preventive Maintenance

Proper and regular service is the single most important thing you can do to ensure that your equipment gives you years of dependability.

Key Benefits

  • Safety - Periodically, flame safe-guards and air switches should be checked for proper operation.
  • Cost savings - Burners that are out of adjustment burn inefficiently and will affect gas consumption.
  • Machine down time - Regularly serviced machines experience less unscheduled down time.
  • Environmental Compliance - Having your equipment serviced once or twice a year, will help you maintain environmental compliance.
  • Machine Capacity and run time - Over time, the capacity decreases and the run time increases. A properly maintained machine will always run at peak performance.

Some indications that your machine may need servicing:

1. Preheat time has steadily increased.

2. Cremation time has increased.

3. Temperature is not maintained or machine is running very hot (2300+degrees)

4. Black grease looking substance on top of machine or around blower. You may also see grease on and around air piping.
